Maybe your life feels like a collapsed lump of clay on the wheel: a marriage, a career, a dream, or a whole season reduced to ashes. In this episode, we open Isaiah 61:1-3, the very passage Jesus chose to announce His ministry, and discover God's promise to give beauty for ashes, the oil of gladness for mourning, and the garment of praise for a faint spirit. We visit the potter's house in Jeremiah 18, where the spoiled vessel was reworked, not thrown away. Then we step into one of history's most powerful stories of restoration: after the Great Fire of London in 1666, Sir Christopher Wren found a single stone in the rubble of St Paul's Cathedral carved with one Latin word, RESURGAM, "I shall rise again." You'll walk away with three ways to respond to your own ash heap: 1. Bring your ashes to God honestly 2. Trust the Potter's reworking, even when it presses hard 3. Write RESURGAM over your ruins, because Christ is risen Scriptures: Isaiah 61:1-3, Jeremiah 18:1-6, Luke 4:16-21, Joel 2:25, Romans 8:28, Ephesians 1:19-20
